Westminster Bridge

Westminster Bridge was built between 1854 and 1862, designed by civil engineer Thomas Page. It replaced an earlier 18th century bridge on the same site and is one of the oldest surviving bridges on the Thames. The bridge is painted green to match the seats in the House of Commons on the north bank.

In For Your Eyes Only (1981), it features during the pre-title sequence as Bond is flying over London. The bridge appears again in The World Is Not Enough (1999) during the opening boat chase sequence along the Thames, as the chase passes through central London. In Die Another Day (2002) it appears in background shots during London scenes. Finally in Spectre (2015) Blofeld's helicopter crashes on to it at the end of the film.
