Sometimes known as James Bond Island and known locally as Ko Ta Pu or Nail Island, the island appears as the mushroom-shaped rock housing the solar panel for Scaramanga's power plant.

It is now forbidden for tourist boats to approach Ko Ta Pu to help stop erosion of the limestone rocks.
