Hagia Sophia

Built in 537 as a Christian cathedral and later converted into a mosque in 1453 after the fall of Constantinople to the Ottoman Empire, the Hagia Sophia later became a museum in 1935 until 2020 when it was reverted back to a mosque.

In From Russia With Love it is seen in establishing shots and interior scenes when Bond waits in the Hagia Sophia for Tatiana to drop off the consulate plans.
