Key West's oldest Catholic church, established in 1852 to serve the island's growing population of Cuban and Bahamian immigrants working in the wrecking and cigar-making trades. The current building dates to 1905, rebuilt after a hurricane destroyed its predecessor, and was elevated to the status of minor basilica in 2013.
Appears in Licence to Kill where Bond and Felix Leiter parachute into the church grounds during Leiter's wedding, having been called away on route to the ceremony to help capture Sanchez.
